Fisher started second grade and Jack started kindergarten! I can’t believe how big they are!!! They are both doing school remotely for now, and since Anthony is on paternity leave (a year later with Lennie), he is at home teaching them while I’m at work. The wine is flowing in our house! hahaha! Since everyone is back to school and work, our weekends are pretty precious again! We spent both weekends at the beach (one was very warm, and the next weekend was pretty cold and windy!) We had a donut party on the beach, took an inflatable boat ride to an island in the bay, caught a dogfish, saw dolphins in the channel, and played in some pretty big tide pools.

After school on Friday, we heard that a whale had died and that they were performing a necropsy on it near Atlantic City…since Fisher wants to be a marine biologist, we took a ride to see it. Unfortunately, by the time the boys’ lessons were finished for the day, we missed it by an hour…they had just buried the whale… Next time, we’ll definitely be playing hooky!

We’ve also been watching quite a bit of “Are You Afraid of the Dark” reruns since Fisher used his tooth-fairy money to buy the dvd.

AND, Sam potty trained himself!
