The thing to do during a pandemic/quarantine is, apparently, tie dyeing…We’ve done tie dyeing a few times during previous summers, but this time it was VERY difficult to find all of the supplies. Michaels was wiped out of all RIT dye and dyeing kits, and they were missing many sizes in their t-shirt section. I finally found shirts that would work, and ordered the dye (one color at a time, as they became available) from Amazon. Find our tie dye project here.
We also spent time hanging out outside, playing in the hose, washing the cars, playing some more Settlers of Catan (with our one-eyed cat, George), coloring, making LEGO mazes for our hermit crabs (we only forgot to put them back in their tank once), fishing, going to the beach in the evening, and making sparkler art. Fisher and Jack also went on a long bike ride with Anthony while Sam painted with his DIY cardboard palette at home with Lennie and me.
