Jack and I had a date day in the city! We took the train in, and since Jack chose the Empire State Building as his activity for the day, we headed there first (after grabbing some Krispy Kreme donuts in the train station). We arrived at the Empire State Building at 9 and managed to avoid the long lines…they open at 8, so I think I would try to be there right when they open next time since the top of the building started to get a little crowded. I haven’t been to the Empire State Building since I was little, and we both really enjoyed it! Jack was very excited to buy a snow globe before leaving!

Then we were off to the LEGO store and FAO Schwartz before heading to Serendipity 3 for a late lunch and frozen hot chocolate.

We took a quick walk through Central Park before heading back to Penn Station because Jack was exhausted! (I was pretty tired myself!)
